ABOUT MAJIKDUKE

Here's a brief description of each level. The levels named "Level*" are supposed to follow a story, and you'll notice that each new level picks up where the last left off. The others are independant. Please note that some of these levels are somewhat lame in level design and dynamics, but they're fun to look at more than anything. If you don't like them, well, go build your own stinkin' levels then! (just kidding!)

Level1 - ASSAULT ON PIG CENTRAL: The influence of the pig cops has grown too great...they now have an entire city devoted to their evil operations. Not for long, though! Duke is air dropped outside their city stronghold, on a mission to infiltrate their headquarters and put the pig cops on permanent leave. In the process of completing his mission, though, Duke discovers an even greater danger...

HINTS: You'll NEED the jetpack at a couple of different places. I know it's bad level design, but hey, what can you do? Also, don't go running into new areas in this level. It's a SURE way to wind up dead!

REQUIRES: Duke Nukem' Atomic Edition or Plutonium Pack

Level2 - ASSAULT ON PLANET X: Duke boards the spacecraft he found in "Pig Central" and uses it's navi computer to locate the source of the alien invasion. He winds up on Planet X, where he must infiltrate an alien space station, and make his way to the palace of the alien emperor. Sound easy? Well, it's not! Good luck!

HINTS: DON'T step out from under the overhangs when you're walking outdoors here...you'll explode from the vacuum. Conserve the jetpack. You don't NEED it, but it's very useful in certain spots. Look for a teleporter hidden in the central command room.

REQUIRES: Duke Nukem' Atomic Edition or Plutonium Pack

Level3 - HOMEWARD BOUND: Duke makes it back home by way of a hidden teleporter, but what's this? Alien bastards all over the place again! Duke fights his way through a junkyard, a movie theater, Duke Burger, and several other exotic (or not) locales in an effort to discover the alien's hidden teleporter, and make it to his central command before it's totally destroyed. This is it, Duke! Good luck!!

HINTS: This level is putridly hard! Look in the junkyard for the blue keycard. Another card is in "Toys B You". There are hidden buttons in different business in town. The place that has two buttons only requires one to be pressed. Good luck finding the hidden passage in town! You're a true "Duke ass kicker" if you beat this...

REQUIRES: Duke Nukem' Atomic Edition or Plutonium Pack AND "Duke it Out in DC" add-on. Don't have this add-on? Contact me, and we'll see about getting you the textures required to play this level.

Level4 - SUPER LEVEL: There's nothing really super about it. It just sounded cool. Duke must destroy the giant alien queen while dodging an ever growing horde of aliens. That's all there is too it. It SOUNDS easy, but is a huge pain in the butt. Only the strong will survive (without cheating).

HINTS: See where the missiles are coming from on the "alien queen"? That's where you want to fire YOUR missiles. If this level looks familiar, you're probably thinking of Doom II...well stop it then!

REQUIRES: Duke Nukem' Atomic Edition or Plutonium Pack

OWL1 - OLD WEST DUKE: Pig cops have invaded a quiet mining outpost, and it's up to Duke to run them varmints out of town! You'll have to rely on pistol and shotgun only, because there ain't any other weapons to pick up! The whole level is done in "old fashioned" textures an' stuff, jus' like in the old west.

HINTS: Look in the mining shack for an entrance to the mine. See that underground shack? My old apartment from college. Only cheaters cross the canyon... :)

REQUIRES: Duke Nukem' Atomic Edition or Plutonium Pack (I think...I'm not sure. You may be able to play with just the original three episodes, but I'm not positive).

Ronduke - ESCAPE FROM THE PEN: Designed by my brother, Ron, a former prison officer and case worker. Duke has been thrown in the joint, and he's had enough. Make a daring escape effort on a mission to get out of prison and make it to the "yard". The level doesn't actually end when you get there, but you'll know when you reach it. Hey...he was an officer at the prison, not a level programmer, so cut him some slack!

HINTS: There's really nothing too complicated about this level. It's just slightly difficult to survive at times. I said it once, but remember, when you reach the "yard", the level is over. Don't wait for it to end on it's own.

REQUIRES: Duke Nukem' Atomic Edition or Plutonium Pack

Hope you enjoy the levels! Maybe by now you can see why I gave up Duke level building and took up Wolf3D instead! Questions about Majikduke? Email me at mmerrill@centene.com. I might have the answers you're looking for!
